
Roberta Gordon-Smith is a successful fine artist, studyed
at Chelsea School of Art and London University, specialising
in the art of Trompe l'oeil. Though her company Artyfacts
she is commisioned to design and produce murals, paintings,
and interiors for private and corporate clients.
Her work has featured in many national magazines Harpers and
Queen, Vogue, Country Homes and Interiors, The Evening Standard,
The Mail Property Supplement and her house has been filmed
for TV interiors programmes for ITV BBC and for American,
Japanese and European shows. She has written 2 informative
books on the Technique of Tromplel'oeil painting and a video.
When her work schedule allows she personally teaches Master
Classes in England and Spain. The painting holidays in Spain
are 8 day study trips, staying with her in her house in Andalucia
near Granada,with a maximum of 2/4 students to ensure personal
tuition. Students produce a mural on canvas based on the Moorish
architecture of Granada and iandscapes of the area in the
foothills of the Sierra Nevada.
The English Master Classes are based in her house and studio
in London. There are 1 and 2 day classes personally run by
Roberta with a maximum of 4/6 places.
